Meet Tom

Tom is an experienced leader having worked in the International Development world for several years and then in leadership in non-profit organizations. His passion for mental health led him to return to university to acquire a Masters of Social Work degree from Western University in London, Ontario.

Since then he has worked in private practice, both in a group practice, and in his own solo practice, focusing on adult mental health and specializing in issues experienced by people who work in the business and financial services industries. He has noticed a significant number of people who work in this fast-paced world struggle with stress and anxiety. This often leads to symptoms of burnout causing challenges in other areas of our lives, or causing us to fail to reach our full potential. Additionally we all bring things from our personal lives that can hold us back.

Tom also has a special interest in helping people who have been in foster care or who are adopted. His own family has been directly affected by the trauma that people with experience interacting with the child welfare system.

In his free time Tom loves being outside hiking, camping with his family, or just working in his yard.
